Open an Existing Project
To open an existing GeoSWMM project:

Open a new ArcMap 10. x window. An appropriate projected coordinate system can be assigned. However, this is not essential for opening an existing GeoSWMM project geodatabase.

Select Open from the Project menu or click on the (
) button in the GeoSWMM toolbar.

Browse for the project location and select the GeoSWMM project geodatabase to open it in ArcMap.
To open a project that had been worked on recently:

Select Recent Projects from the Project menu. A list of five recent projects is displayed.

Select a suitable GeoSWMM model database from the list. The selected GeoSWMM model will open in ArcMap. Note that to keep consistency in the spatial reference, the target geodatabase should be opened in a new ArcMap window; otherwise, the existing ArcMap window must have a coordinate system identical to that of the selected geodatabase.
