Add Nodes

To add a node object e.g. junctions using the drag-and-drop system:

  1. Add a point feature layer in ArcGIS Pro map to represent the model junctions.

  2. Select the layer in TOC. Drag it into the GeoSWMM Object Panel and release the mouse button over the Junctions. The object property mapping window will appear.

  3. Assign the property fields accurately and click Ok.

  4. Now click on Save to update the model and store the information into the geodatabase.

To add junctions using the conventional ArcGIS Pro edit section:

  1. Select the Junctions layer in the SWMM geodatabase in the ArcGIS Pro map TOC.

  2. Now go to Edit Section and enable editing.

  3. Now create or edit the features in the selected layer using the options provided in the ArcGIS Pro Edit Section.

  4. Assign the required attributes for the created or edited features.

  5. After feature editing is complete, save and stop editing the layer.

  6. Now click on the Reload button in the GeoSWMM tab to update the model.

Similarly, the outfalls, dividers and storage units can also be added in a GeoSWMM project.
