Add Nodes
To add a node object e.g. junctions using the drag-and-drop system:
-
Add a point feature layer in ArcGIS Pro map to represent the model junctions.
-
Select the layer in TOC. Drag it into the GeoSWMM Object Panel and release the mouse button over the Junctions. The object property mapping window will appear.
-
Assign the property fields accurately and click Ok.
-
Now click on Save to update the model and store the information into the geodatabase.
To add junctions using the conventional ArcGIS Pro edit section:
-
Select the Junctions layer in the SWMM geodatabase in the ArcGIS Pro map TOC.
-
Now go to Edit Section and enable editing.
-
Now create or edit the features in the selected layer using the options provided in the ArcGIS Pro Edit Section.
-
Assign the required attributes for the created or edited features.
-
After feature editing is complete, save and stop editing the layer.
-
Now click on the Reload button in the GeoSWMM tab to update the model.
Similarly, the outfalls, dividers and storage units can also be added in a GeoSWMM project.
