GeoSWMM 6.1 introduces an enhanced user interface and expands the Network Analysis Tool to support external stormwater and sewer network GIS data before it is imported into a model. This release provides a more consistent experience within ArcGIS Pro and allows network connectivity issues to be identified earlier in model development and watershed delineation workflows.
GeoSWMM 6.1 supports projects created in earlier supported GeoSWMM versions. Existing projects can be opened and used without changes to the model data or project content. Before upgrading, confirm that your ArcGIS Pro environment and GeoSWMM installation meet the required version and licensing requirements.
GeoSWMM 6.1 introduces an updated interface that provides a more consistent experience with ArcGIS Pro and across GeoSWMM tools. The revised interface brings greater consistency to object property editors, model data editing, navigation, and tool interactions, making it easier to move between modeling tasks and work within the ArcGIS Pro environment.
The Network Analysis Tool now supports analysis of external stormwater and sewer network GIS data before it is imported into GeoSWMM. You can review network connectivity and identify potential issues such as missing nodes or links, orphan nodes or links, duplicate features, and invalid data in the source GIS dataset before using it for model development or watershed delineation. The tool also continues to support network connectivity review and QA/QC for existing GeoSWMM project networks.
This expanded workflow helps you identify and correct network problems earlier, reducing the risk of importing disconnected or improperly connected features and helping ensure that watershed delineation is based on a properly connected sewer network.
