Model Simulation

The GeoSWMM project file Tutorial_02.gdb has been simulated in two steps. In the first step, existing conduit diameters are designed under Kinematic Wave routing so that no flooding occurs at the model nodes. In the second step, with the newly designed conduit diameters, the model is simulated under all three routing methods, and then runoff results are compared among them. This simulation is performed for each storm event (i.e. 2-year, 10-year, and 100-year).

The following section describes the simulation result summary obtained in the above two steps.
