Objective

The purpose of this tutorial is to guide users in creating an integrated 1D-2D GeoSWMM model for simulating urban flooding. The focus is on expanding a 1D stormwater drainage model to include 2D surface flow, enabling a more realistic representation of how stormwater behaves across streets, terrain, and drainage systems. The goal is to support users in generating accurate flood depth and extent maps for various design storm events, which are essential for flood risk assessment, infrastructure planning, and mitigation strategy development.
