Connect 1D-2D

Connect 1D-2D tool allows you to connect an existing 1D model to the 2D model. This tool can be found under the “2D Modeling” option.  Before connecting the 1D to the 2D model, it is necessary to create the 2D mesh, including 2D junctions, 2D conduits and 2D cells. You can create the 2D mesh using the Create 2D Layers tool.

The interface of this tool looks like the following:

Steps:

• Navigate to the 2D Modeling option and click the Connect 1D -2D tool

• Choose the appropriate connecting option from the available choices.

• Click Connect

to establish the connections between the 1D and 2D features.
